Resolutions... we have all made them. We have good intent, but then, life just happens. I thought long and hard how I was going to make this new year different. I was done with the resolutions but wanted lasting change and the spirit of something new. I spent 2017 setting firm boundaries with those whom could easily be labeled "the easy ones." Now, to tackle those that aren't so easy... the friends, family, the close acquaintances that need to go but are tangled in my heart wires. Those my dear are the hard ones. Those are also the ones that derail me from living my best life now.
2018... here we come. I'm ready. How am I going to do it? I've thought long and hard and wrestled the demons but ultimately it's a pretty easy solution. Here's how I plan to regain my control of my own life and live it to the fullest.
1. Eliminate social media for the first quarter. Farewell Facebook, that should be easy... I actually really don't like FB. Bye Bye Instagram! That one is a knife in my heart. Stressed? I look at dogs on IG. Bored, I look at everything on IG. Happy, I look at IG. Sad, IG will have something to cheer me. But, bye bye you addictive little non sensical muse. In April... I'll re-evaluate.
I also plan on using that "Do Not Disturb" feature on my iphone. Gonna turn it off in the evenings till morning and lock it away on off time and not respond to texts, voicemails. My iphone will no longer be my third hand, second brain, best friend. It will be a device to call 911 in an emergency.

- learn to meditate
- eat green, eat raw, eat chemical free
- exercise, be in nature, breathe outside air
- sleep, lots and lots of glorious sleep! I will
conquer,SLAY you in 2018! - make me my #1 priority
- Breathe in, breathe out, move on
In the first quarter, I'll decompress and focus on my physical health. Hit the gym religiously, eat and juice; SLAY sleep and have focus. It is all about me. And that is the most unselfish thing I've ever done.
