I'm a positive person. I always try to see the good in everything. I do admit I fall into the illusion we are independent from time to time, but when I look closely, I realize we are really dependent on others. So much of what I enjoy is dependent on what other people do; my morning wake up text that puts a smile on my face; the Whole Foods worker who stocks my favorite berries and crisp red apples, or the lawn man who keeps the grass low so I can see the ducks swimming from my window. We owe everything to other people and I have constant reasons to be grateful.
I really want to get better at practicing gratitude and grow my baseline. An attitude of gratitude! Deliberate, regular gratitude practice is my goal for the next 30 days. I'm going to daily post my focus on the incredible things in my life that I almost always overlook that bring me gratitude. I hope you are inspired to do the same.

1. My morning text from someone special.
2. Coffee - the smell of the french press brewing and the first swallow of warm goodness.
3. My Australian shepherd who every morning jumps on me and smothers me with doggie kisses.
4. Taylor Swift music to get me up and moving and singing along!
5. Hearing my dad's voice on the phone today.
6. Timehop memory of my 21 day juice fast 3 years ago! I did it!
7. Grateful for my work especially why so many are not getting paid right now.
8. Facetime with Max! He's growing up so fast.
9. A long warm shower with my favorite Lush scents.
10. A healthy warm dinner with my daughter laughing about our day.
